Dancers, students and those who love salsa dance will be excitied after reading next news. The best salsa instructors Luis Vasquez and Melissa Fernandez are coming to Zagreb again!!!

These two passionate dancers are fascinated with the work, and the entertainment in Zagreb, so they have decided to step up and participate in organizing second weekend workshop named

2nd SalsaZone Fever Weekend with Luis Vazquez & Melissa Fernandez & Los Hermanos

Workshop will start on 21nd till 23rd of May 2009, and organizers beside Luis and Melissa are: Dancing Studio Fever, Dancing School Salsoteca, and SalsaZone Fever.

Like every sequel, the second salsa weekend will be improved and enriched with Los Hermanos – dancing group from Milan who won the first prize on salsa congress in Zurich, in 2006 with choreography "Skeleton in the dark" and took the highest level of the salsa dancers.

Those who were attending the first weekend know what they can get: passion, joy, and unexhausted energy of Melissa and Luis' teaching. They are direct, funny, spontaneous and because of that, student’s favorites. All students wished to be and to dance like them at least once...

When they finish teaching and start to dance, Luis and Melissa make an explosion of salsa on the dance floor. The harmony of their movements on the one, and a total freedom and spontaneity on the other side, leaves watchers out of breath. Every Melissa’s spin and Luis’ step and harmony of dancing could be described in one, maybe two words: passion and fire. That passion they spread on everyone around.

In the end, the fact that they are the most wanted salsa instructors in the world speaks about their professionalism and quality.


ABOUT THE WORKSHOP...

Thursday (21.5) – Welcome party. The good atmosphere and music will be brought to you by DJ Cisko from Bruxelles and DJ Ricky from Croatia.

Friday (22.5) – Gala party. Flavor is added by amazing show performances and the best Latin rhythms are brought to you by DJ Cisko from Bruxelles and DJ Ricky from Croatia.

Saturday (23.5) – workshop; 5 classes in two levels (improver & intermediate/advanced). Chill out party at dance studio Fever.

Impressions from First SalsaZone Fever Weekend...

Wow! The first salsa weekend workshop organized by SalsaZone Fever has past...

After 3 days of salsa parties and saturday workshop classes my heart is still beating in clave rhythm and through my mind the images of smiling people are still passing, overhelmed with Luis' and Melisas's energy which seemed to have spread all over Zagreb...

Our visiting instructors Luis and Melissa showed the Croatian public their size and warmth, and didn't leave anybody indifferent. With their heartiness, large dance knowledge, professionallity and incredible show performance they won the hearts of all the dancers and managed to bewitch the spirit of salsa to all the other visitors.

I believe that each visitor, whether on the hot workshops or the fantastic parties, awoke their "little" Luisa and Melissa inside themselves, and thus they will continue to be present on the Croatian dance floor forever.

First of all, we want to thank Luis and Melissa for giving us the pleasure to accept our invitation to be the first visting instructors by our organization. Thanks to everyone who helped to make this event happen! A big thanks to all the sponsors and partners, thanks to the volunteers, thanks to everybody who jumped in last second, thanks to the staff of 'Spoon' and 'Lobby', thanks to Emil, thanks to Tihana and the dancers from 'Jazzelle', thanks to Robi, thanks to Dora, Mirela and Dora, thanks to MC Ivan, thanks to cameraman Damir, thank you, thank you, thank you!
